Mirai | 3 Seat Sofa

In Japanese, the word “mirai” means “future.” The Mirai sofa, the result of a collaboration between Natuzzi Italia and designer Andrea Steidl, combines a structure with a strong personality and a distinctive lightness. Its seemingly divergent lines come together in an elegant optical play that creates a sense of movement. Steidl deconstructed the concept of comfort into individual elements, supported by a wooden structure on which light and soft volumes rest. The result is both visual and physical comfort that looks toward the future, while maintaining and enhancing the brand’s stylistic code.

About Delfino

This fabric is constructed using a new and innovative technology that helps to obtain a puffed-up thread that is soft and compact at the same time. Thanks to its sealing characteristics stitching and a reinforcement on the back, which very strong and solid; it can be used in different ambiances.‍

Dry cleaning suggested. Dab spills quickly with a soft cloth. Vacuum regularly to remove dust and dirt‍

This leather is lightly finished for color, with a shruken grain and lightly protected. The grain remains natural and full as it is not embossed nor buffed. The main characteristics are the soft feel, semi-glossy look, and different grains. ‍

Protecta | This leather is layered with an invisible, protective film that guards against spills and stains‍

‍

Care instructions:

Periodically dust with a clean, dry, and non-abrasive cloth. For stains: remove the stain quickly by dabbing with an absorbent cloth or paper. Then, delicately rub the stain working from the outside towards the center using a cloth soaked with water and mild-soap solution. Do not soak the leather and dry the surface immediately with a clean cloth.

About the designer

Andrea Steidl

Andrea Steidl graduated in industrial Design at the Polytechnic of Milan with a thesis on "Gratuity" which he achieved in 2004. In 2016 he designed his first personal project and subsequently co-founded AR-O studio with Raquel Pacchini with whomhe deals with product design, communication, strategic consultancy and art direction projects.
