Dita | TV Cabinet

Although it might be evocative of certain metal modular systems from the office world, Dita clearly distances itself from these in a number of ways: its lacquered panels are in wood rather than sheet metal; its discreet profiled uprights with their sophisticated finish are perfectly placed, cast and not part of the structure; a matching handle which is light and beautifully designed; and its small, slim feet which continue the line of the structure in a very natural way.

Material

‍Handles are in injected Zamak, lacquered bronze to co-ordinate with the uprights. Hinges are black.

About the designer

Pagnon & Pelhaître

Pagnon & Pelhaître is a French design partnership founded by Patrick Pagnon (born 1953) and Claude Pelhaître (born 1954). Focusing on furniture and architecture, the duo have collaborated since 1980 from their Paris-based design office. Pagnon & Pelhaître craft contemporary shapes with design precision, while incorporating quality components. After graduating from decorative arts in 1978, the pair have completed a wealth of furniture for brands like Ligne Roset, and architectural projects around the world.
