Coplan | Sideboard

First launched in 2008, the Coplan sideboard is being updated for 2016. The way in which its two coplanar doors open has been retained: side by side when closed, they pivot on opening and slide one in front of the other. Since there is no clearance required when opening, one can have a 200 or 230 cm long sideboard with just 2 sliding doors instead of 3, 4 or 5 hinged doors. The gain, aesthetically speaking, is one of simplicity and purity of line.

Top in White ceramic stoneware (non-scratch, stain, wear, and heat-resistant material that is 30% harder than granite) structure in White lacquered, Chromed base and handles.

About the designer

Pagnon & Pelhaître

Pagnon & Pelhaître is a French design partnership founded by Patrick Pagnon (born 1953) and Claude Pelhaître (born 1954). Focusing on furniture and architecture, the duo have collaborated since 1980 from their Paris-based design office. Pagnon & Pelhaître craft contemporary shapes with design precision, while incorporating quality components. After graduating from decorative arts in 1978, the pair have completed a wealth of furniture for brands like Ligne Roset, and architectural projects around the world.
